Keys to the game

1 The Oilers couldn't contain the Ravens' wide receivers or put pressure on quarterback Vinny Testaverde.

2 Ravens kicker Matt Stover tied a career high by connecting on five of six field-goal attempts.

3 The Ravens jammed the Oilers' running game and got help from Tennessee's coaches, who decided to come out throwing the ball. "With Michael [Jackson] and Derrick [Alexander], there leaves a lot of separation for me. We knew going into the game that some of their coverage might allow me to be open across the middle. Vinny [Testaverde] made some really great reads."

Jermaine Lewis, Ravens wide receiver

the losers

"We wanted to use some play-action passes and do some things off our running game. But we got behind and got away from our game plan. Since I've been coach this is the most decisive loss we have suffered."

Jeff Fisher, Oilers coach
