Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Shooting: A 16-year-old boy was riding his bike in the 1800 block of Hollins St. about 11 p.m. Saturday when one of two men, also on bikes, shot him in the lower back. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. No arrests had been made.

Theft from vehicle: Fifteen compact discs valued at $300 were stolen Saturday from a 1996 Toyota parked in the 1300 block of Covington St.

Burglary/arrest: Police entered a house in the first block of S. Stockton St. on Saturday and arrested a man who had broken in through a door. No property was reported missing.

Robbery: A 56-year-old man was in the 900 block of S. Carey St. about 2 a.m. Friday when two men, one with a BB pistol, robbed him of more than $300.

Northwestern District

Cutting/arrest: Police arrested one man and were seeking another in connection with the stabbing of a 26-year-old man in the 3900 block of Park Heights Ave. about 4 p.m. Saturday. The victim was stabbed in the left shoulder but declined medical treatment.

Burglary: An AM-FM stereo radio and jewelry, all valued at $300, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 3000 block of Milford Ave.

Burglary: Two stereo speakers, a compact disc player, cassette decks and coins were stolen Saturday from a house in the 4300 block of Maine Ave.

Theft: An unattended mountain bike valued at $200 and with serial number L9705045 was stolen Saturday in the 3300 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway.

Stolen car: A teal-colored 1995 Dodge van with tags 560747M was stolen Friday or Saturday in the 3500 block of Pinkney Road.

Eastern District

Theft: A 10-year-old boy was trying to fix his bike in the 700 block of E. Hoffman St. about 7 p.m. Saturday when a man told him he would have it repaired. The man took the bike, valued at $80, and did not return.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a 33-year-old man of $30 about 4 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of N. Broadway.

Stabbing: A woman stabbed a man in the back during an argument in the 600 block of N. Potomac St. on Saturday night. The woman was arrested. The man was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Stolen car: A red two-door 1983 Chevrolet with no tags was stolen Friday or Saturday from a private parking lot in the 2700 block of E. Preston St.

Theft from vehicle: Someone broke into a Ford sedan parked in the 2200 block of Robb St. on Saturday and stole $15 in coins.

Robbery: A man was about to leave an ATM in the 600 block of S. Bond St. Saturday night when he was attacked by two men who robbed him of his wallet and $100.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A red 1995 Ford station wagon with South Carolina tags VLL 550 was stolen Saturday in the 100 block of Mallow Hill Road.

North Point Precinct

Theft: Aluminum siding valued at $400 was stolen Friday or Saturday from outside a house in the 1900 block of Willow Spring Road.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at more than $200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 2800 block of Cold Stream Way.

Burglary: Tools valued at $600 were stolen Saturday from a house being built in the first block of Beaver Pond Circle.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A man was about to enter his car on the Hillendale Shopping Center parking lot in the 6800 block of Loch Raven Blvd. when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of more than $200 about 4 p.m. Saturday.
