McCormick names Smith, Mirabelle to top accounting posts

McCormick & Co. announced the appointments of Michael R. Smith as director of corporate accounting and Sharon H. Mirabelle as director of general accounting, McCormick/Shilling division.

Smith, formerly corporate manager for financial planning, is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. A resident of Forest Hills, he is active with the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. Mirabelle resides in Gamber and is an MBA graduate of Loyola College.

Tremols, Frederick chosen to lead Invisions Group

The Invisions Group, Bethesda-based communications design consultants, has selected Andres E. Tremols as president and Gretchen Frederick as vice chairman, chief operating officer. Tremols, a 12-year member of the firm, was previously its creative director. Frederick, with the company for more than 13 years, had been the senior art director.

Bunting, McCormick join staff at Strategix

Strategix announced that Joseph P. McCormick, a graphic designer, and Linda Bunting, an account manager, have recently joined the staff of the Baltimore-based ad/marketing and public relations agency. McCormick is an art graduate of Richard Stockton College and attended Trinity College in Ireland. Bunting, a 20-year ad industry veteran, was formerly a marketing manager for the Valspar Corp.

Pingrey is regional VP for First National Bank

First National Bank of Maryland has chosen 12-year veteran Bradley D. Pingrey as regional vice president for Western Maryland. He is a graduate of San Francisco State University. A resident of New Market, he is active with the Washington County United Way and the Washington County Health System.
