Hopkins wins in rout, 73-0

Wayne Roccia passed for three first-half touchdowns as Johns Hopkins (2-0, 1-0) scored on five straight possessions to ,, fuel a 73-0 rout of visiting Swarthmore (0-2, 0-1) last night in a Division III Centennial Conference game.

The Blue Jays' point total was second in school history to an 87-0 win over Loyola in 1924.

Senior Todd Bencivenni went 10-for-10 in extra-point conversions and kicked a school-record 51-yard field goal. He became the conference's all-time leader in kicking points with 127.
