Angels: Announced that Anaheim Stadium has been renamed Edison International Field of Anaheim under a $50 million, 20-year sponsorship deal.

Yankees: Claimed former Orioles P Joe Borowski off waivers from Braves. Recalled 1B Ivan Cruz from Triple-A Columbus. Designated OF Matt Luke for assignment.

Grizzlies: Signed C Ivano Newbill, who had been with Hawks.

Raptors: Signed F Tracy McGrady, No. 9 draft pick overall, of Mount Zion Christian Academy in Durham, N.C., for $4.7 million over three years.
