Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Howard County.

Ellicott City: 9600 block of Larchmede Court: A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage Tuesday.

Ellicott City: 8600 block of Wheatfield Road: Someone stole a bike from an open garage Tuesday.

Ellicott City: 3200 block of St. John's Lane: A storage shed belonging to the Seventh-day Adventist Church was broken into between Sept. 4 and Tuesday.

Ellicott City: 3200 block of North Ridge Road: The locks on two Wal-Mart trailers were cut off Monday or Tuesday. Motorized toys were stolen.

Ellicott City: 4900 block of Waterloo Road: Someone broke into the Watermont Pharmacy on Tuesday. Police said Valium and Vicodin were stolen from a narcotics cabinet.

Elkridge: U.S. 1 and Ducketts Lane: Tools and a stereo were stolen from a construction trailer Tuesday.

Oakland Mills: 9500 block of Kilimanjaro Road: Someone walked into a house through an unlocked rear sliding door Monday or Tuesday. Nintendo games and an adapter were stolen.

Owen Brown: 9100 block of Commerce Center Drive: A generator and electrical wire were stolen from two construction trailers Monday or Tuesday.
