Needlepoint Show

View 48 exquisite pieces of needle art created by Kaffe Fassett and Candace Bahouth when "The Kaffe and Candace Needlepoint Show" opens Sunday at the Woodlawn Plantation in Mount Vernon, Va. The American artists, who reside in England, are regularly featured in the Ehrman Tapestry publications and catalog. Both have exhibited at the American Museum in Bath and at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The Woodlawn exhibit brings the artists together for the first time in America. A variety of lectures and workshops are scheduled in conjunction HTC with the event.

The exhibition runs through Oct. 19. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and free to children under 5. Call 703-780-4000.
