Finksburg man sentenced for drunken driving

September 10, 1997

A Finksburg man, who has been convicted twice before on drunken driving charges, was sentenced yesterday to one year in the Carroll County Detention Center for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Bryan K. Lord, 33, of Deer Park Road, also was fined $1,000 by Circuit Court Judge Raymond E. Beck Sr.

Lord pleaded not guilty in June to the latest offense, which occurred on Route 140 on Valentine's Day, 1996, but agreed not to contest the prosecutor's statement of facts.

Court records show Lord was convicted in 1988 and 1991 of drunken driving.
