Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: Clothing and other property, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Saturday from a 1997 Ford Windstar parked in the 3000 block of N. Charles St.

Theft: Jewelry valued at nearly $1,800 was stolen from a house in the 300 block of Gittings Ave. The victim reported the theft Saturday and told police the jewelry was missed after people hired to clean carpets left the premises Friday.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 5600 block of Lothian Road through a rear basement window Saturday and stole a 19-inch television, a videocassette recorder and a water jug, all valued at more than $1,000.

Stolen car: The owner of a silver 1993 Infiniti with tags DTF 074 was visiting friends in the 4200 block of St. Georges Ave. on Saturday when someone removed his keys from a table in the house and stole the car.

Burglary: Stereo equipment, a VCR and 12-inch television, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen between Friday and Saturday from a house in the 2800 block of Maryland Ave. by someone who entered after breaking a window.

Northwestern District

Stolen cars: A two-door black 1996 Mitsubishi with tags DDP 931 and a white 1987 Honda Accord with vanity tags "ANTONIO" were stolen Friday in the 4800 block of Norwood Ave. It was not known if the thefts were related.

Robbery: A 15-year-old boy was assaulted by an older youth and robbed of his book bag containing school supplies and other property Friday afternoon in the 3900 block of Rogers Ave.

Burglary: A stove, refrigerator and a ceiling fan, all valued at $700, were stolen from a house in the 4100 block of Crest Heights Road on Sept. 1. The burglary was reported Friday.

Assault: A 24-year-old man was attacked by four other men who hit him with their fists and a piece of wood Friday in the 5100 block of Wolverton Ave. He was treated for head cuts at Sinai Hospital.

White Marsh Precinct

Stolen car: A 1989 Ford truck with Alabama tags XA80447 was stolen Friday or Saturday from U-Haul in the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the first block of Lark Meadow Court through a front window Friday or Saturday and stole an undisclosed sum of cash from a purse.

Robbery: A teen-age boy was at Vale Drive and Mavis Avenue about 11 p.m. Friday when one of two men stepped from a 1996 Nissan with tags CWT 961 and robbed him of more than $20.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A man armed with a chrome-plated revolver robbed the CVS pharmacy in the 9600 block of Harford Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 9: 30 p.m. Saturday.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 46-year-old woman was at York and East Joppa roads about 3: 30 p.m. Saturday when a man ripped her watch from her wrist and fled on foot.

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Friday from the Towson Diner in the 700 block of York Road by someone who entered the building after removing a window air conditioner.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: Two gunmen entered the Edgemere Thriftway grocery store in the 7500 block of North Point Road about 9 p.m. Saturday, ordered an employee to turn off the security camera and removed the cash register drawer containing an undisclosed sum of money. The men forced the employee into a back room. The men were seen driving away in a white foreign car.
