Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Central District

Robbery: A man was in the 300 block of Wilson St. about 10 p.m. Wednesday when a gunman placed a weapon to the victim's head and robbed him of cash, credit cards and other property valued at $50.

Southern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed the McDonald's restaurant in the 3300 block of Annapolis Road about 10 p.m. Wednesday and escaped in a brown 1985 Nissan Maxima.

Burglary: Two TVs and a videocassette recorder, valued at more than $700, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 700 block of Roundview Road.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Two telephones and stereo equipment, of unknown value, were stolen from a house in the 2400 block of Denison St. between Aug. 31 and Wednesday.

Robbery/arrest: A man assaulted a 47-year-old man and robbed him of a walking cane valued at $50 about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical treatment. Later, police arrested a 20-year-old suspect and recovered the cane.

Cab robbery: A Diamond Cab driver transported a man to the Central Booking and Intake Center in the 300 block of E. Madison St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday. There, the passenger went inside the jail and came back with an envelope and told the driver to take him to the 3800 block of Dolfield Ave., where the passenger displayed a handgun, refused to pay the $23 fare and ran away. Police said security cameras record people entering the center and that they were reviewing the film in an attempt to identify the gunman.

Robbery try: A man approached a motorist who was stopped for a traffic light in the 5200 block of Park Heights Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday and tried to reach into the driver's shirt pocket. As the driver sped away, the man's head struck the car door, and he fell to the pavement, then ran away.

Western District

Burglary: Cash and jewelry, valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 2400 block of W. Lanvale St.

Stabbing: A 61-year-old man was in the 100 block of N. Smallwood St. about 2 p.m. Wednesday when a man pulled out an undetermined weapon and stabbed him in the left shoulder. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Burglary: A 13-inch TV, a pair of tennis shoes and clothing, valued at nearly $250, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Hillman Court.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of more than $300 about 6 p.m. Wednesday in the 2000 block of E. Chase St.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Silverware and clothing of unknown value were stolen from a house in the 4200 block of Manorwood Road between Aug. 28 and Wednesday.

Robbery: A man with two handguns took an undisclosed sum of money from the Tesoro grocery store in the Oakleigh Shopping Center, in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive, about 10 a.m. Wednesday. The robber drove off in a blue pickup truck.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A laptop computer of unknown value was stolen from SMW Computer Sales in the 200 block of E. Joppa Road Tuesday or Wednesday.

Burglary: Gold jewelry, a word processor and a radio were stolen from a house in the 500 block of Windwood Road Wednesday.
