2 men abducted in city

Two people were killed in unrelated shootings yesterday morning, Baltimore police reported.

Police said Davon Hussey, 22, of the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave. was slain about 2: 30 a.m. Hussey was standing with several other people at Fayette Street and Luzerne Avenue in East Baltimore when two men approached and one of them fired into the crowd, fatally wounding Hussey, police said.

Hussey died at Johns Hopkins Hospital, police said.

No one else was injured detectives said.

The body of Antoineen Darden, 30, of the 4800 block of Sherwood Farm Road in Owings Mills in Baltimore County was found about 4 a.m. in the 2900 block of W. Baltimore St., police said.

Police said Darden, who had been shot in the head, and an unidentified man were abducted from the 900 block of Rutland Ave. and driven away in a car about two hours earlier.

The unidentified man was let out of the car about 4 a.m. and flagged down a police officer about an hour later at Garrison Boulevard and Gwynns Falls Parkway, police said. He was not injured.
