Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.
Northeastern District
Shooting: A man was shot in the left side of the neck by a man he was talking to in the parking lot of an apartment building in the 2200 block of Fleetwood Ave. about 1: 45 a.m. yesterday. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.
Western District
Burglary: An undisclosed amount of money was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave.
Stolen car: A blue 1988 Hyundai with tags EFY 614 was stolen Tuesday in the 2500 block of Lauretta Ave.
Robbery: A 13-year-old boy was riding his bike in the 2500 block of Madison Ave. about 5 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman stole the bike, valued at $300.
Burglary: Someone entered E & F Beauty Supply in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. through a rear door Tuesday and stole cigarettes and snack foods.
Southern District
Burglary: A videocassette recorder and a stereo compact disc player, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 800 block of Jack St. Entry was gained through a rear basement door.
Burglary: A radio valued at $100 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Talbott St. by someone who used a tool to pry open a rear window.
Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM cassette radio and a compact disc player, all valued at more than $600, were stolen from a 1986 Ford parked in the 200 block of Dickman St. on Tuesday.
Theft from vehicle: A cellular telephone adapter and $20 were stolen from a 1990 Nissan parked in the 800 block of S. Paca St. on Tuesday.
Theft: Someone cut the lock and stole a 24-speed bike, valued at more than $400, that was chained to a fence outside an apartment building in the first block of W. Cross St. on Tuesday night.
Northwestern District
Robbery: A teen-age boy was riding his bike in the 2800 block of Glen Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday when two other male teen-agers robbed him of the bike, $5 and a watch.
Burglary: A generator and a space heater, all valued at more than $600, were stolen between Sunday and Tuesday from a garage in the 3600 block of Seven Mile Lane.
Robbery: Two teen-age males robbed a 17-year-old male of his bike about 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 5900 block of Cross Country Blvd. The bike was valued at $50.
Stolen car: A green 1995 BMW with tags EHG 965 was stolen between Saturday and Monday in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave.
Burglary: A vacuum cleaner, typewriter, furniture, sewing machine and other property -- all valued at more than $5,000 -- were stolen between Aug. 5 and Aug. 26 from a house in the 2500 block of Talbot Road. Entry was gained through a rear window.
Eastern District
Theft: Compact discs and several maps were stolen Tuesday from a car parked in the 900 block of N. Eden St.
Burglary: A television valued at $100 was stolen Tuesday from TC house in the 1800 block of N. Dallas St. Entry was gained through a rear door.
Robbery: A man armed with a knife and a spray can allegedly containing a chemical agent robbed Seif's clothing store, located in the Oldtown Mall in the 400 block of Gay St., of $100 about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Burglary: Alcoholic beverages and a microwave oven, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen from a storage room at the Broadway Lounge in the 1400 block of N. Broadway between Sunday and Tuesday.
Theft from truck/arrest: While a driver for the Winner Distributing Co. was delivering beverages to a store in the 2400 block of E. North Ave. on Tuesday, a man entered the truck and stole some malt liquor. A police officer witnessed the theft and arrested the man.
Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of $70 about 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of Ashland Ave.
Robbery: An 11-year-old girl was riding her bike in the 2600 block of E. Chase St. about 8 p.m. Tuesday when she was assaulted by a teen-age boy who stole the bike, valued at $200.
Northern District
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 5700 block of Chinquapin Parkway Tuesday after cutting a window screen and stole a videocassette recorder and 100 compact discs, all valued at nearly $1,200.
Burglary: A 6-foot-long 1939-vintage Coca Cola cooler -- valued at more than $1,000 -- was stolen Tuesday from a garage in the 4100 block of Roland Ave. Entry was gained by cutting a lock.
Robbery: Two men robbed the Royal Farm store in the 200 block of W. Cold Spring Lane of an undisclosed sum of money about 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Stolen car: A 4-door 1991 Dodge with tags CBA 161 was stolen Tuesday in the 5700 block of York Road.
Burglary: Three TVs, a videocassette recorder, stereo speakers and an antique lamp, all valued at nearly $1,700, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 5200 block of Ivanhoe Ave.
North Point Precinct
Theft/arrest: Police arrested a woman and were seeking another after they attempted to leave Value City department store in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd. on Tuesday without paying for clothing valued at nearly $300. All the clothing was recovered.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: A mountain bike valued at more than $600 was stolen from a garage in the first block of Manor Springs Court between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 19400 block of Graves Run Road on Saturday and stole three handguns. Later that day, two of the weapons were found in the victim's mailbox. The third, a .25 caliber Titan semiautomatic, is missing. The burglary was reported Tuesday.
