An inmate found with stab wounds at a Jessup prison Monday night was in stable condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, a spokesman for state prisons said.

Marc Cason, 37, was found about 8: 25 p.m. in a recreation yard at the Maryland House of Correction with stab wounds in the neck and chest, said Dave Towers, spokesman for the Division of Correction.

No arrest has been made and no weapon has been found, Towers said, adding that the incident was being investigated.
