Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.
Eastern District
Robbery: A man in his late 20s was walking in the 300 block of E. North Ave. about 11 p.m. Monday when a man hit him over the head with a gun and took an undetermined amount of money.
Larceny from auto: Property valued at $279 was stolen about 9: 30 a.m. Monday from a car parked in the 500 block of E. Chase St.
Robbery: Two men were robbed of their bicycles around 12: 30 a.m. yesterday in the 1000 block of E. Madison St. The victims, both 34, were accosted by two male assailants.
Larceny: Several pairs of trousers and other property, all valued at $205, were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of McElderry St. about 6: 30 a.m. Monday.
Burglary: B&B Auto Supply in the 300 block of N. Gay St. reported $1,078 in lost property after a burglary about midnight Tuesday.
Robbery: A gunman robbed a 51-year-old man of $380 about 3: 55 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Ashland Ave.
Southern District
Larceny from auto: A brown wallet was stolen from a 1990 Toyota parked in the 4000 block of Orchard Ave. about 9: 45 a.m. Monday. The driver left a door unlocked.
Larceny from auto: A 1987 Chevrolet was broken into about 2: 30 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of Russell St. It was unknown if any property was taken.
Burglary: A Lenox cassette player, a Sony compact disc player and a Sharp microwave oven, all valued at almost $600, were stolen about 8 p.m. Monday from a home in the 2400 block of Marbourne Ave.
Central District
Robbery: A man armed with a knife robbed another man of $30 about 3 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of Park Ave.
Robbery: A woman who stated "Kick it out" while showing a handgun took $30 from a man about 6: 30 a.m. Monday in the 1500 block of Argyle Ave.
Southwestern District
Shooting: A 31-year-old man was shot while sitting in his 1992 Subaru about 3: 30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Walrad St. He was wounded in the upper left back and was in stable condition yesterday at St. Agnes Hospital.
Shooting: A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg as he was getting out of a cab about midnight Monday in the 400 block of Washington Blvd. He was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released.
Western District
Shooting: A 22-year-old man heard gunshots about 1 a.m. yesterday in the 2300 block of W. Baltimore St. and started running but was shot in the right foot. He was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released.
Garrison Precinct
Armed robbery: A man wearing a pink bandanna and white shorts escaped with $72 during a Sunday robbery in the 12100 block of Park Heights Ave. The male victim, 19, was at the Valley Gourmet restaurant about 10 p.m. when the robber showed a 9 mm handgun and demanded money. The robber flagged down a car headed south on Park Heights and fled.
Purse snatching: A 63-year-old woman had her purse stolen Sunday evening while in her driveway in the first block of Aventura Court. The victim was getting out of her car about 8: 55 p.m. when a man in a white T-shirt and shorts came up from behind and took her purse, which contained credit cards and her driver's license.
White Marsh Precinct
Armed robbery: A 24-year-old man was robbed of $20 about 10: 30 p.m. Monday while talking on a pay telephone outside a Wendy's restaurant in the 8800 block of York Road. The robber was described as a teen-age male wearing a dark baseball cap and a red scarf and carrying a semiautomatic handgun.
For the Record
Arrest: U.S. marshals arrested Eric D. Butler yesterday on a charge of first-degree murder stemming from the May 3 fatal shooting of Jimmy L. Martin. Butler, 30, is accused of shooting Martin, 29, of the 2200 block of E. Chase St. about midnight in the 1300 block of Montford Ave.
Wanted: Baltimore City police are searching for Quiton Davis, 22, who is charged in a warrant with first-degree murder and handgun violations in the June 30 fatal shooting of Lance Tate, 16, of the 900 block of N. Augusta Ave. Two other youths were wounded in the incident. Police are offering a $2,000 reward for the capture of Davis.
