Victim of Harford cycle crash is Pa. man

State Police identified Steven Keith Parker, 37, of Shippensburg, Pa., as the man who was killed Wednesday when his motorcycle crashed into an oncoming car on Rocks Road in Forest Hill, Harford County.

Parker was killed about 3: 20 p.m. when the 1997 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was riding north on Rocks Road crossed the center line and crashed into a southbound 1995 Mazda, police said. The driver of the Mazda and a passenger suffered minor injuries.

Cpl. Larry Gordon of the Benson barracks said driver error and excessive speed on the part of Parker contributed to the crash.
