Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 17-year-old boy was in the 1200 block of Pearleaf Court about midnight Monday when a man riding by on a bike and wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap jumped off the bike and shot him in the upper right leg. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery/arrests: A man was in the 1300 block of Homewood Ave. about noon Monday when a gunman left a burgundy 1997 Nissan and robbed him of $80 before fleeing on foot. Later, police stopped the car in the 800 block of E. Hoffman St. and arrested four occupants. All were charged with armed robbery. The gunman was being sought.

Assault/robbery: A man was in the 2300 block of E. Preston St. about 8 p.m. Monday when he was struck over the head by another man who robbed him of $100. The victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was treated for a fractured skull and was listed yesterday in critical condition.

Western District

Shooting: Two men were in the 2000 block of W. North Ave. about 11: 30 p.m. Monday when a gunman who was seeking a man he fought with earlier fired several shots, hitting one of the bystanders in the leg and the other bystander in the left shoulder.

Shootings: A man and woman were talking to friends in the 2000 block of N. Monroe St. about 3 a.m. Monday when a gunman fired several shots, hitting the man in the shoulder and the woman in the leg. Both were treated at an area hospital.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A tow-truck driver was changing a flat tire in the 100 block of S. Warwick Ave. about 5 p.m. Monday when a gunman approached and began yelling at him. The gunman pursued the tow-truck driver into a building and as the driver was running, the gunman fired several shots that struck the victim in both knees. The gunman escaped and the driver was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southern District

Theft: A silver-colored 20-inch bike valued at nearly $200 was stolen Monday in the 300 block of S. Fulton Ave.

Robbery: A driver for Harbor Transportation was stopped in the 2800 block of Hollins Ferry Road about 12: 10 a.m. Monday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $100.

Northwestern District

Burglary/arrests: Police arrested two teen-age boys Monday after they broke into a house in the 3300 block of Rogers Ave. while the former resident was moving to another location. No property was reported missing.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 4800 block of Wilern Ave. on Sunday and stole a videocassette recorder valued at $300.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1987 Cadillac parked in the 500 block of E. 28th St. on Monday and stole $40.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A couple were about to enter an apartment building in the 6900 block of Lachlan Circle about 11: 30 p.m. Monday when two gunmen approached and robbed them of their cash and jewelry, all of unknown value.

Burglary: Someone entered an exterior freezer at Don's crabs in the 1700 block of E. Joppa Road about 11 p.m. Monday and stole 100 pounds of shrimp.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A TV, videocassette recorder and computer equipment, valued at $1,000, were stolen Sunday or Monday from a house in the 11400 block of Mays Chapel Road in Timonium.
