June 19, 1997|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

A 57-year-old Potomac man was killed yesterday when high winds accompanying a storm uprooted a 50-foot-tall oak tree, which fell on his car, said a spokeswoman for the Montgomery County police.

Spokeswoman Ann Evans said Jurgen Johann Rahe of Snow Hill Court was on South Glen Road near Normandy Farms Drive in Potomac about 6: 35 p.m. when the incident occurred.
