Cecelia's Bridals welcomed to downtown Westminster

The Greater Westminster Development Corp. welcomes Cecelia's Bridals to the downtown business district.

The store features designer wedding gowns and custom-made gowns for the bridal party, including the flower girl.

A grand opening will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 13 Liberty St.

General auditor appointed for Union National Bank

Stephanie C. Haines of Westminster has been promoted to general auditor of Union National Bank.

She joined the bank in 1986, working in various areas until 1991, when she moved to the audit department.

Her responsibilities include assessing the adequacy of internal controls, compliance with regulatory requirements and generally ensuring the safety and soundness of the bank.

Wheeler dealership earns 10th Chrysler 5-Star Award

Chrysler Corp. has awarded Wheeler Chrysler-Plymouth its 1997 Chrysler Five-Star Award for Excellence.

One of every four Chrysler dealerships earns the Five-Star Award. The award is given for superior customer satisfaction ratings.

This is the 10th time Wheeler has earned the award.

Vocational director named by Arc of Carroll County

The Arc of Carroll County has appointed Anne Beman-Race as vocational services manager of Summer Enterprises.
