Yankees update

The weather did the Orioles no favors yesterday, raining out Andy Pettitte's scheduled start against Boston, making him available today. The Yankees dominated the Orioles last season, winning 10 of 13 during the regular season before bouncing the Orioles from the ALCS in five games. The Orioles haven't won a season series at Yankee Stadium since 1989. The Yankees halted a five-game losing streak Saturday against Boston, but remain in an offensive funk. Charlie Hayes has replaced Wade Boggs at third base and responded with a game-winning home run Saturday. Boggs is mired in a 1-for-14 slump. Tino Martinez missed Friday's start because of an infected toe and is 1-for-16 on the homestand. The Yankees have lost seven times in their opponents' last at-bat. Rogers beat the Orioles twice last year and is 5-4 lifetime against them.
