The Navy's precision flying team, the Blue Angels, will perform high-speed precision maneuvers during the U.S. Naval Academy's Commissioning Week.
Safety precautions will be in effect.
The Naval Academy Bridge will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians, and sections of the Severn River will be closed to boaters.
The Naval Academy gates will be closed to vehicle traffic, except for academy residents, cars with handicapped stickers and shuttle buses, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
For the Blue Angels' circle and arrival maneuvers and rehearsal tomorrow and for its flight demonstration Wednesday, the mouth of the Severn River will be closed to boating. The Naval Academy Bridge will be closed to all traffic.
The academy will provide free shuttle service between Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium and the school to ease congestion downtown.
A limited number of buses will operate at half-hour intervals between 7: 30 a.m. and 9 p.m. through Thursday.
Buses will stop at the stadium, Alumni Hall, the area near the Cutter Shed and the Naval Academy Store and Halsey Field House. The buses are not wheelchair-accessible.
The fee for parking at the stadium is $3 for cars and $8 for recreational vehicles.
Parking on graduation day is free for those with graduation tickets.
