Mystery fumes sicken 5 downtown workers

Mysterious fumes in the George H. Fallon Federal Building downtown yesterday sent five women to area hospitals for treatment, Fire Department officials said. The fumes also caused the evacuation of the building.

The cause of the gas had yet to be determined, said Battalion Chief Hector L. Torres.
