A headline in yesterday's Maryland section erroneously said the state was reducing its funding for treatment of poor drug addicts. In fact, the state's funding is up from last year and will increase again in the coming fiscal year. However, direct funding for 41 drug treatment centers will be cut.
The Sun regrets the error.
