Twins update

Minnesota is 11-13, 1 1/2 games out of first place in the mediocre AL Central, and has lost its past five games. Matt Lawton (.322) and Greg Colbrunn (.293) rank among the league leaders in doubles with nine. Paul Molitor was batting .326 before going on the disabled list with an abdominal strain. Closer Rick Aguilera has been struggling; he gave up two walks in one-third of an inning Sunday and had allowed eight runs in his last three games before that. The Orioles swept a two-game series with the Twins earlier this month at Camden Yards, win- ning 4-2 and 3-1. In the opener, Erickson allowed two runs and five hits in eight innings to out-duel Tewksbury. The next night, Kamieniecki gave up one run and two hits in five innings before turning the game over to the bullpen. Brady Anderson homered in the first inning off Aldred, and former Twin Jeff Reboulet connected off him in the eighth. Coppinger will make his second start since coming off the disabled list. Tewksbury's only win this year was a shutout.
