Arson: A flamable liquid was used to set fire to the first floor of a vacant house in the 1900 block of Kennedy Ave. about 3 a.m. Saturday, causing $5,000 damage. No injuries were reported. Firefighters found a can containing the liquid in front of the house.
Robbery/stabbing: A woman was in the 2500 block of E. Oliver St. about 8: 30 a.m. Saturday when another woman robbed her of $2 and stabbed her in the neck. A suspect was arrested, and the injured woman was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Theft: After cleaning the gutters of a house in the 3900 block of Canterbury Road on Thursday, a man asked the occupant if he could borrow two ladders to clean the gutters of other homes on the street. The occupant agreed and gave the man his two ladders, one 42 feet and the other 16 feet. The man left and never returned the ladders, valued at $400.
Theft: A man stole more than $50 worth of headache medicine from the Revco pharmacy in the 5300 block of York Road on Saturday.
Burglary: Police were seeking a man who entered the CVS pharmacy in the 4600 block of Falls Road on Friday after breaking a pane of glass in the front door. It was not known what was stolen, but the intruder was videotaped as he moved through the store and has been identified.
Stolen car: A dark blue 1990 Jeep with Virginia tags ZJJ1313 was stolen yesterday in the 1400 block of Bloomfield Ave.
Assault: A 28-year-old Randallstown man was in the 400 block of Mount Holly St. on Saturday when a man struck him several times with a baseball bat. The victim was treated at St. Agnes Hospital for a broken left arm.

Hit-and-run arrest: After at least six vehicles, including a police car and a fire truck, were struck in hit-and-run accidents Saturday morning, a man driving a truck in which his former wife and two children were passengers was arrested by county police. Charged with assaulting an officer whose car was hit, driving on a suspended license, fleeing and eluding and several traffic violations was Peter D. Bruno Jr., 32, of the 1200 block of Boyd Road in Street, Harford County.
Robbery: A man wearing a dark brown winter coat implied he was armed with a handgun and robbed the McDonald's in the 7500 block of Belair Road about 8 p.m. Friday of an undisclosed sum of money.
Burglary: More than 400 compact discs valued at $6,700 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1400 block of Glencoe Road in Sparks by someone who entered through a side door.
Robbery/arrest: An 88-year-old man was in the 8100 block of Loch Raven Blvd. about 6: 20 p.m. Friday when another man robbed him of his wallet and cash. As a suspect drove off in a car, a witness jotted down the tag numbers. Later, police went to a house in 1000 block of Aisquith St. in Baltimore City and arrested Eric G. Bubose, 35, and charged him with assault and robbery.

Suspect arrested: Coleman Scott, 34, a homeless man charged in a warrant with first-degree murder in the death of Viola Elizabeth Jones, 29, also homeless, was arrested Saturday while walking in the 1600 block of Edison Highway. Jones' bound body, wrapped in a blanket, was found Nov. 9 in a room above the Hair Dynasty salon in the 400 block of W. Saratoga St.
