Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southwestern District

Drug arrests: Forty-three people, including four females, were arrested yesterday when they tried to buy cocaine or heroin from four police officers posing as drug traffickers in the 100 and 200 blocks of S. Franklintown Road. Police also seized 15 vehicles and more than $1,200 from those arrested. Lt. Russell Shea said 23 of the suspects were from the city and the others were from surrounding counties. Their ages ranged from 18 to 50. All the suspects were charged with conspiracy to possess illegal drugs and were being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending bail hearings.

Eastern District

Burglary: A television, electric drills, saws, a gold watch and radio, all valued at more than $2,300, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1300 block of N. Spring St.

Stolen car: A 1995 Geo with tags DMY 500 was stolen Wednesday in the 1000 block of N. Kenwood Ave.

Assault: A woman was being sought after she struck a man in the face with a 40-ounce glass bottle, breaking three of his teeth, during an incident Wednesday in the 1000 block of N. Broadway.

Western District

Drug arrest: Officer James D. Moses was on patrol in the 100 block of N. Monroe St. on Wednesday when he saw a woman drop what appeared to be gelatin capsules. After retrieving 16 capsules of suspected cocaine near the woman, Moses arrested Antoinette Saunders, 28, of the 1600 block of W. Lexington St. and charged her with possession of suspected cocaine with intent to distribute.

Drug arrests: After seeing what appeared to be a drug transaction between two men Wednesday in the 1300 block of Fremont Ave., Officer Ronald Howard arrested them and seized a pack of cigarettes containing 15 gel caps of suspected cocaine. Arrested was a West Baltimore man and a resident of Glen Burnie.

Southern District

Burglary: Someone entered the Patapsco waste treatment plant in the 3500 block of Asiatic Ave. on April 18 or Saturday and stole computer equipment valued at nearly $34,000.

Robbery/arrest: A man was in the 3700 block of S. Hanover St. about 12: 15 a.m. Wednesday when another man pressed an unknown object in his back and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $900. Later, police arrested a suspect.

Northwestern District

Theft from vehicle: Cassette tapes valued at $600 were stolen Wednesday from a 1990 Mitsubishi car parked in the 4800 block of Liberty Heights Ave.

Robbery: Two gunmen robbed the McDonald's in the 5300 block of Park Heights Ave. about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Northern District

Robbery: A man was in the 200 block of E. Northern Parkway about 4: 20 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $45 and a payroll check for more than $200.

Burglary: Someone entered Johnson's Auto Repair shop in the 2100 block of N. Charles St. on Tuesday or Wednesday and stole a telephone, answering machine and scanner, all valued at $700.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A purse containing $50 was stolen from a car inside a garage in the first block of Seaberry Court on Tuesday or Wednesday.
