County police said yesterday that they had arrested one of three men they believe robbed a Glen Burnie woman, then forced their way into her apartment and robbed others there early yesterday.

George Smith, 43, of the 500 block of West Court, was charged with robbery and served with a warrant in another case.

Police said three men approached Yoo Mi Chung, 23, on the parking lot outside her apartment on Nolpark Court shortly before 1 a.m. and demanded money. At least one of them displayed a gun, police said.

The woman handed over an undisclosed amount and the men pushed into her apartment, where they robbed others in the apartment and ran away. Police would not say how many people were inside the apartment, whether they lived there or what the men took.

Police apprehended one suspect a few blocks away on Phrine Road. Chung identified him as one of those who had robbed her, police said.
