Police Seek Trucker In Double Rape

April 21, 1997|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

County police are seeking a trucker who is accused of raping two teen-age girls in the cab of his tractor-trailer between Friday night and Saturday morning while parked at a Jessup truck stop.

Police said the girls, 15 and 17, were walking in the 4600 block of Hollins Ferry Road in Halethorpe, Baltimore County, about 9: 30 p.m. Friday when the driver of a white 18-wheeler with blue stripes on the tractor and trailer pulled up. The girls told police that he agreed to drive them to Baltimore.

Instead, he drove them to Truckers Inn in the 7400 block of Assateague Drive, where he raped both girls, police said.

About 5: 30 a.m. Saturday, the trucker dropped the girls off near where he picked them up.
