Robert H. Anderson, 54, retired postal worker

Robert Harrison Anderson, a retired postal worker and Vietnam War veteran, died of heart failure Saturday at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. He was 54 and lived in East Baltimore.

After 22 years as a U.S. Postal Service letter carrier, the Baltimore native retired in 1992 and became staff director for state Del. Clarence Davis, a Baltimore Democrat.

Services for the graduate of Dunbar High School and Air Force veteran, will be held at 11: 30 a.m. today at March Funeral Home, 1101 E. North Ave.

Mr. Anderson is survived by a son, Robert Harrison Anderson Jr.; a daughter, Victoria Anderson; four brothers, Leroy Johnson, Bennie Anderson, William Anderson and Michael Anderson; a sister, Mamie Green; and a grandson. All are of Baltimore.
