Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Burglary: Hand and power tools valued at more than $1,000 were stolen Tuesday or yesterday from a shed in the 2000 block of Annapolis Road.

Theft: More than $1,000 was stolen from a hiding place in the kitchen of a house in the 300 block of S. Calhoun St. on Tuesday.

Theft from auto: Golf clubs valued at $700 were stolen Monday from a 1992 Ford Explorer parked in the 1300 block of Warner St.

Robbery: A woman was in the 1500 block of Filbert St. about 2 p.m. Monday when a man grabbed nearly $50 from her hand.

Theft from vehicle: An AM-FM cassette radio, tools and clothing, all valued at more than $2,000, were stolen Tuesday from a 1985 Ford van parked in the 500 block of Harbor View Drive.

Western District

Shooting: Two men were arguing during a drug transaction in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave. about 10 p.m. Tuesday when one of them shot the other in the abdomen and right leg. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Northern District

Stolen car: A green 1982 Dodge station wagon with tags DRJ 051 was stolen Monday in the 2600 block of N. Calvert St.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 19-year-old man was in the 1200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. about 5: 45 p.m. Tuesday when two men fired shots from semiautomatic weapons and a bullet struck him in the lower back. He was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday. Police investigating the shooting entered a vacant house near the scene and recovered drugs and two semiautomatic weapons believed used in the shooting.

Shootings: A 22-year-old man, fleeing from a gunman who rode a bike Tuesday in the 2300 block of E. Monument St., was about to run into a clothing store when he was shot in the lower back. A 13-year-old boy in the store was shot in the right arm. Both victims were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released. No arrest had been made.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man entered the home of his ex-girlfriend in the 3100 block of Lyndale Ave. about 9: 15 a.m. Tuesday and robbed her of property valued at nearly $30.

Robbery: A 57-year-old woman was in the 2800 block of Lake Ave. at 10 p.m. Tuesday when a man knocked her to the pavement and took cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Two bikes valued at nearly $200 were stolen Tuesday from the back yard of a house in the 5200 block of Cynthia Terrace.

North Point Precinct

Vandalism: The hood and quarter panel of a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville parked in the 2500 block of McComas Ave. was sprayed with paint Tuesday, causing $300 damage.

Theft: Two outboard motors valued at $3,000 were stolen Tuesday from boats stored at a marina in the 9100 block of Cuckold Point Road.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry valued at $800 was stolen from a house in the 7900 block of Hillendale Road between April 1 and 3. The burglary was reported Tuesday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A computer and printer, all valued at nearly $4,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3200 block of Paper Mill Road.

Burglary: A 19-inch television valued at $400 and a 35 mm camera worth $200 were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Manor Brook Road in Monkton.
