Maryland Primary Care Physicians of Crofton has announced that Certified Nurse Practitioner Rosemary Ayerle has joined the staff. Ayerle was an adult nurse practitioner at Annapolis Family Practice and a nurse practitioner for open-heart surgical patients at Washington Hospital Center in the District of Columbia.

Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development is awarding training grants to four county companies. These companies received Partnership for Work Force Quality training grants: Holmatro Inc. of Millersville, Baltimore Therapeutic Equipment Co. of Hanover, SPAR Associates Inc. in Annapolis and Chesapeake Appraisal and Settlement Services Inc. of Linthicum. Jim Propst has been named marketing director for the BayWoods of Annapolis life-care retirement community to be built off Bembe Beach Road in Annapolis. This community will consist of about 140 residential living apartments, 32 assisted-living units and 28 skilled-nursing beds.
