2 men charged for trying to enter park over a fence

Two 30-year-old men were arrested yesterday and charged with trespassing when they tried to climb over a fence to enter Oriole Park before the beginning of the Opening Day game between the Orioles and Kansas City Royals, city police said.

Michael Crawford of Hagerstown and Christopher Shoop of Greencastle, Pa., were spotted by a police officer trying to climb over the iron fence on the Camden Street side of the stadium and were arrested.

Both men were held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending bail hearings.
