Things will be hopping at the Baltimore Zoo this weekend as the Bunny BonanZoo celebration kicks off. Spring has officially sprung and the zoo is welcoming it along with "Hoppy the Bunny's" arrival. There will be activities and entertainment for all.

Children can visit the Whisker Painting Station, hop inside the Moonbounce, create holiday cards, see magicians and costume characters and visit the Bunny BonanZoo Baby Barn of baby animals. Parents and children will enjoy the music and entertainment of the Calico Cloggers, the Kinderman, the Kindersingers and "Outback Jack" Stanton.

The Bunny BonanZoo will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Baltimore Zoo, Druid Hill Park. Magic shows are scheduled at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Admission is $7.50 for adults; $4 for ages 62 and over; $4 for ages 2 to 15; free for ages under 2. Call 410-366-LION. Grab your basket and get ready to hunt for all those hidden Easter eggs on Monday, as several locations offer the challenge. The Department of Recreation and Parks is sponsoring Easter egg hunts at the Clarence Du Burns Arena from 10 a.m. to noon, at Druid Hill Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and at Patterson Park from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Children ages 12 and under can search Druid Hill Park's Mansion House lawn for eggs. Hunts will be divided into age groupings. And kids can meet the Easter Bunny and win prizes.
