Bullets tonight

March 26, 1997

Opponent: Boston Celtics

Site: USAir Arena, Landover

Time: 7:30

TV/Radio: HTS//WWRC (980 AM)

Outlook: The Celtics have lost three straight and nine of their past 10 and own the second-worst overall record (13-54) in the league. The team has been so devastated by injuries (Pervis Ellison, Dino Radja, Greg Minor and Dano Barros have played a combined 78 games this season) that a guy named Brett Szabo has been starting at center. The Bullets have won five of their past seven and hope to gain ground on the Cleveland Cavaliers, the eighth-place team in the Eastern Conference. This is a game the Bullets can ill afford to lose, especially to a team they've beaten twice this season.
