March 20, 1997|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

A 67-year-old Gambrills man was arrested yesterday on multiple charges relating to allegations by Meade High School officials last month that he bought alcohol for students, showed them pornographic materials and had them pose nude for photos.

Police lodged charges against Gordon D. Ross Jr. of the 2200 block of Four Seasons Drive, including a second-degree sexual offense, perverted practices, prostitution, inducing school absence, contributing to the delinquency of a child, child pornography and possession of child pornography.

He was arrested at his home, where police executed a search-and-seizure warrant. Police said that there appeared to have been as many as six victims and that the investigation was continuing.

Ross was being held at the Western District pending an appearance before an Annapolis District Court commissioner, a county police spokesman said.
