Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Robbery: A man was in the 300 block of Bolton St. about 11: 45 p.m. Tuesday when another man asked him for directions to Madison Street, then pulled a handgun and robbed him of a coat, valued at $150.

Theft: Computer equipment valued at $5,000 was stolen between Monday and yesterday from an office at the University of Maryland at Baltimore in the 400 block of W. Redwood St.

Robbery: A man was in the 400 block of Park Ave. about 12: 30 a.m. yesterday when he was pulled into an alley by another man, who robbed him of $25 and the boots he was wearing.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Electronic equipment valued at $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3000 block of Normount Court.

Stolen car: A burgundy 1992 Dodge Dynasty with tags AEA 210 was stolen Tuesday in the 1100 block of Wicklow Road.

Northern District

Burglary: Computer equipment was stolen Tuesday from Waverly-St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in the 600 block of E. 33rd St.

Stolen car: A 1994 Honda Accord with tags DSA 329 was stolen Monday or Tuesday in the 1900 block of Sulgrave Ave.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a man who tried to leave the Revco in the 5300 block of York Road on Tuesday without paying for at least 12 packs of camera film valued at more than $400.

Robbery: A woman was in the 2500 block of N. Calvert St. about 2 p.m. Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A 92-year-old woman was walking in the 1800 block of Eastern Ave. in Highlandtown about 4: 30 p.m. Tuesday when a man knocked her to the pavement and stole her purse containing less than $20 and a ring valued at $10. The woman was not injured.

Eastern District

Burglary: A television valued at $800 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 700 block of Wharton Court.

Rape/arrest: Police arrested one man and were seeking two others in the rape of a 19-year-old woman in a house on North Duncan Street on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Robbery: A woman was in the 2100 block of Boone St. about 5 p.m. Tuesday when two men robbed her of $16.

Western District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder, television and a remote control were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3000 block of Mondawmin Ave.

Stolen car: A 1987 Dodge sedan with tags DDZ 025 was stolen Monday or Tuesday in the 2500 block of Elsinore Ave.

Stolen car: A gold 1987 Nissan with tags CSH 873 was stolen in the 3900 block of Duvall Ave. on Tuesday.

Northwestern District

Robbery: An unarmed man robbed Fashion Cents, a clothing store in the 5700 block of Wabash Ave., about 1 p.m. Tuesday.

North Point Precinct

Vandalism: Police were seeking at least one person who shattered the front window of a townhouse in the 2800 block of Dunglen Court on Tuesday with a BB gun. The window was valued at $150.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: A dishwasher valued at more than $300 was stolen from a house under construction in the 400 block of Butler Road on Friday or Saturday. The incident was reported Monday.

Burglary: A South American golden macaw of unknown value and more than $100 were stolen Monday or Tuesday from the Animal and Bird Hospital in the 9600 block of Reisterstown Road.

Robbery: An elderly resident of the 3200 block of Smith Ave. answered a knock at his door about 4 p.m. Monday and was assaulted by a man, who also robbed him of money.
