Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Howard County.

Ellicott City: 8500 block of U.S. 40: The Pamper Palace was broken into Sunday or Monday, and a safe containing cash was taken.

Owen Brown: 7100 block of Minstrel Way: Someone pried open a front window to the offices of Danis Heavy Construction between Friday and Monday. Nothing was taken.

Oakland Mills: 9400 block of Maera Court: A stolen four-door 1987 Toyota Camry was recovered between March 4 and March 6.

Harper's Choice: 11100 block of Wood Elves Way: A resident caught a man searching a car that was parked in the garage Monday. The man fled, and nothing was reported missing.

Harper's Choice: 5300 block of Iron Pen Place: Someone broke into a house Monday by prying open a rear patio door. A grandfather clock, videocassette recorder and television were taken.

Hickory Ridge: 6100 block of Wooded Run Drive: Cash and jewelry were stolen from a house Saturday or Sunday while the residents were away.

North Laurel: 9200 block of Bridle Path Lane: Two armed men forced their way into a house Tuesday, and robbed the residents of money and a laptop computer.

North Laurel: 9400 block of Decatur Road: A 1987 Pero trailer, Maryland license plates 051557G, was stolen between Wednesday and Sunday.

North Laurel: 8700 block of Cresthill Court: Twenty-one wooden cabinets were stolen between Friday and Monday from a house under construction.

North Laurel: 1000 block of U.S. 1: A storage shed was broken into March 11 or 12, and a computer, tools, a grill and fishing rods were stolen.

Lisbon: 3100 block of Florence Road: A blue 1981 Plymouth Duster was stolen between March 8 and Monday.
