Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Carjacking: Three men forced a man from his 1993 Toyota Camry with tags BFR 743 about 2: 15 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of N. Eutaw St. and drove off.

Burglary: A comforter, 20-inch television, videocassette recorder, jewelry and other property, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen from an apartment in the 1500 block of Park Ave. between Saturday and Monday.

Eastern District

Burglary: A videocassette recorder valued at $100 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1600 block of Cliftview Ave.

Purse snatch: A woman was in the 500 block of Old Town Mall about 4 p.m. Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $40.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone of unknown value was stolen Monday from a 1992 Volkswagen parked in the 600 block of N. Castle St.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1991 Plymouth van with tags 777022M was stolen Monday in the 2200 block of Garrison Blvd.

Stolen vehicle: A 1990 Jeep truck with tags 866296M was stolen in the 500 block of Random Road Sunday or Monday.

Shooting: A 23-year-old man was shot in the head at Baltimore and Hilton streets Monday during an argument with another man about the price of drugs. The victim was treated for a graze wound at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Western District

Stolen car: A 1987 Ford van with vanity tags D879 was stolen Monday in the 1000 block of Ashburton St.

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player and other property, all valued at $500, were stolen Monday from a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier in the 1100 block of Appleton St.

Robbery: Two men attacked a man in the 1600 block of W. Fayette St. about 8 p.m. Monday and robbed him of $220.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $20 in an alley behind the 1700 block of N. Carey St. on Monday.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $600 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1900 block of Edmondson Ave.

Assault: A 12-year-old boy was in the 2800 block of Windsor Ave. on Monday when several boys assaulted him. The youth was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital pediatric care center for minor injuries and released.

North Point Precinct

Arson/arrest: A 32-year-old man was arrested Monday night in connection with setting fire to the rear deck of a house in the 1900 block of Towson Ave., causing $200 in damage.

Burglary: A bike valued at $100 was stolen from the front porch of a house in the 1900 block of Holman Road Sunday or Monday.

Assault: A man was changing a flat tire on Berkshire Road near Alton Avenue Monday when several youths threw rocks at him, striking him in the hands and feet. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. No arrests had been made.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A man armed with a sawed-off shotgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 7200 block of York Road about 11: 55 p.m. Sunday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A mountain bike valued at $400 was stolen Sunday or Monday from a garage in the first block of Hickory Meadow Road.

Burglary: A bike valued at $200 was stolen yesterday from a house in the first block of Laurel Circle.
