Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Howard County.

Elkridge: 5800 block of Blue Sky: An electric stove and gas range were stolen from two unoccupied houses Thursday or Friday.

East Columbia

Owen Brown: 9400 block of Snowden River Parkway: Mattress Warehouse was broken into Saturday. Nothing was reported missing.

Owen Brown: 6400 block of Dobbin Road: Several desks in the Deerfield Senior Day Center offices were ransacked Friday or Saturday. A box containing cash was stolen.

Oakland Mills: 6900 block of Oakland Mills Road: Someone attempted to break into the Kiddie Academy of Columbia Friday. No entry was gained.

Oakland Mills: 6900 block of Oakland Mills Road: Someone broke into Hot Off the Beach Tanning Spa Friday after prying the deadbolt lock off the door frame.

Town Center: 10700 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Someone tried to break into Cellular One offices Saturday. Nothing was reported missing.

Savage: 9900 block of Guilford Road: A radio, clock, cologne and compact discs were stolen from an apartment Saturday.

Fulton: 11900 block of Scaggsville Road: Someone broke into a house Friday through a rear window and stole cash, jewelry and a carton of cigarettes.
