Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone and a cellular phone adapter, all valued at $300, were stolen yesterday from a 1992 Toyota parked in the 1300 block of Towson St.

Stolen car: A blue four-door 1988 Ford with tags DDN 076 was stolen yesterday in the 900 block of Cherry Hill Road.

Shooting: A man was shot in the right leg Saturday night by an unknown man while walking in the 2500 block of Round Road. He was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Northern District

Shooting: Two men were sitting on the front steps of a house in the 600 block of E. 41st St. yesterday when a man in a moving Ford Contour fired several gunshots at them, hitting one of the men in the left thigh. The victim was treated at Union Memorial Hospital.

Stolen car: A 1994 Ford with tags DDP 696 was stolen Saturday in the 4700 block of Ivanhoe Ave.

Theft: A videocassette recorder valued at more than $100 was stolen Saturday from Pawn It in the 400 block of E. 33rd St.

Robbery: Two men attacked a man Saturday in the 500 block of E. 43rd St. and robbed him of $200.

Theft: A cellular phone and other property, all valued at $300, were stolen Saturday from a vehicle parked in the 3000 block of Old York Road.

Burglary: A 25-speed mountain bike valued at $1,000 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the 5600 block of Roland Ave.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Taco Bell restaurant in the 5900 block of Reisterstown Road about 9 p.m. Friday.

Robbery: A 16-year-old boy was riding his Yamaha dirt bike in the 2700 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway about 6: 30 p.m. Friday when a gunman ordered him off the vehicle and rode away on it. The bike was valued at $600.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a woman who attempted to leave the Caldor department store in the 6700 block of Reisterstown Road Saturday without paying for a microwave oven and several pieces of clothing, all valued at more than $700.

Western District

Burglary: A man was arrested Saturday after he entered a house in the 900 block of Claymont Ave. and stole property valued at $400.

Shooting: Two males were riding in a car in the 1900 block of W. Fayette St. about 11: 55 p.m. Saturday when a passenger in a passing car fired several shots, hitting one of the victims in the back twice and the other in the left side. Both victims were in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A gold-colored 1991 Mazda 626 with tags ZEE 238 was stolen Saturday in the 1000 block of Wicklow Road.

Stolen car: A 1987 Plymouth Colt with tags DWL 327 was stolen Saturday in the 3000 block of Harlem Ave.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A red Honda 500-R motorbike valued at $500 was stolen Saturday from the rear yard of a house in the 1900 block of Queensway.

Vandalism: An acidlike substance was poured on at least five cars, including two Mercedes-Benzes, parked in the 7400 block of Chesapeake Road on Saturday. The total amount of damage was estimated at more than $30,000.

Theft/arrests: Police arrested two men Saturday when they attempted to leave the J.C. Penney store at the Eastpoint Mall without paying for three pairs of eyeglasses. Police recovered a handgun from one of the men.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A bike and 30 compact discs, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen from a house in the first block of Bafford Court on Friday or Saturday. Entry to the house was via an adjoining garage.
