The driver suspected in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday that claimed the life of a 9-year-old boy in West Baltimore surrendered to police yesterday.
Rodney Goins, 30, of the 2900 block of Jefferson St., who was driving on a suspended license, was alone when he surrendered at 4: 15 p.m. at police headquarters downtown, police said. He was charged with vehicular manslaughter and was being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center pending a bail hearing.
