Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly entered Sister Lisa's Reading and Advisor in the 400 block of W. Saratoga St. and stole property valued at more than $600. Antoine McDonald, 31, of the 1200 block of Westwood Ave. was charged with burglary.

Burglary: Clothing valued at more than $4,300 was stolen yesterday from Eddie Jacobs Ltd. clothing store at 10 Light St. Entry was gained by breaking a window with a concrete block. The break-in was discovered at 3 a.m.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A man was in the 5800 block of Harford Road about 4 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck on the head with an unknown weapon by a man who robbed him of prescription medicine.

Carjacking: Three male passengers, one with a handgun, forced the driver of a Royal Cab out of the vehicle in the 3800 block of Crestwood Road and drove off about 3: 30 a.m. Tuesday. A short distance away, the cab crashed into a parked car and the suspects escaped.

Northwestern District

Theft: A wallet, cash and a watch, all valued at $60, were stolen Tuesday from a locker at the Jewish Community Center in the 3600 block of Glen Ave.

Southern District

Stolen car: A 1994 Ford Probe with Pennsylvania tags BBL8824 was stolen Tuesday in the 600 block of S. Paca St.

Robbery: A Glen Burnie man was stopped in his vehicle in the 1000 block of S. Hanover St. about 6 p.m. Tuesday when a man forced his way in, struck the driver in the face and robbed him of $40 and a set of keys.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A television, videocassette recorder and stereo equipment, all valued at $500, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 4400 block of Adell Terrace.

Burglary/arrest: While the occupant of a house in the 700 block of N. Grantley St. was walking her dog Tuesday, someone entered her house and stole a large jar containing coins. Kevin Johnson, 34, of the same block was arrested nearby and charged with burglary.

Robbery: A woman robbed a another woman of her purse and shopping bag after they got off a Mass Transit Administration bus in the 2500 block of Frederick Ave. Tuesday afternoon. The victim had argued with the robber while they were on the bus.

Northern District

Shooting: A 29-year-old man was walking in the 3900 block of Evesham Ave. about 9 p.m. Tuesday when he passed several youths, one of whom said something to him. When the victim entered the 500 block of E. Northern Parkway, one of the youths shot him in the left shoulder with a handgun. The victim was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center and released.

Eastern District

Shooting: Two men were arguing over money in the 2100 block of E. Fayette St. when one pulled a handgun and shot the other in the foot Tuesday. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released.

Towson Precinct

Arrest: Larry Cornell Jones, 24, who allegedly jumped bail while his conviction for drug distribution was being appealed, was arrested yesterday in the 1700 block of E. Northern Parkway by members of the Maryland Joint Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force. Jones was sentenced to 25 years without parole. FBI Agent Larry Faust said Jones is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed the Crown service station in the 7500 block of Belair Road of $100 about 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Two bikes of unknown value were stolen Tuesday from the porch of a house in the 300 block of Academy Ave.
