Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northeastern District

Robbery/shooting: One of a trio of robbers shot a man in the groin about 11: 15 p.m. Saturday in the 4800 block of Claybury Road and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money. He was in stable condition yesterday at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Eastern District

Shooting: A man leaving a party about 11 p.m. Saturday argued with a man over a woman and was shot four times in the upper torso. He was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital yesterday.

Northern District

Theft: Antique trains of unknown value were stolen from Antique Trains & Toy World in the 3600 block of Falls Road between March 1 and Saturday.

Robbery: A man with a weapon and wearing a ski mask robbed a man of more than $150 about 7 p.m. Saturday in the 4000 block of Edgehill Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A radar detector, coins and a flashlight, all valued at $165, were stolen from a 1997 Jeep Wrangler parked Friday in the 300 block of Wyman Park Drive.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a teen-age boy of 55 cents, then struck him with the weapon about 9 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of W. Belvedere Ave.

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed an 82-year-old man of his coat and hat in the 3000 block of Reisterstown Road about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Western District

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man of jewelry, a jacket and $1 Saturday night in the 1900 block of Smallwood St.

Drug arrest: A 29-year-old man was arrested in the 1100 block of N. Mount St. on Saturday and charged with possessing four bags of marijuana, valued at nearly $100.

Arson: A Molotov cocktail that was thrown through a window of a house in the 1200 block of Woodyear St. about 12: 30 a.m. Saturday caused more than $1,200 in damage to the living room and kitchen. No injuries were reported, and no arrest had been made.

Burglary: Two televisions and computer equipment, all valued at nearly $2,400, were stolen between Thursday and Saturday from a house in the 1300 block of N. Fulton Ave. Entry was gained by removing a metal grate from a rear window.

Southwestern District

Cutting: A 33-year-old man was buying drugs in the 2100 block of Hollins St. about 1 a.m. Saturday when the seller shot him in the abdomen and right leg. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released.

Church burglary: Cash was stolen from a closet at John Wesley United Methodist Church in the 3200 block of W. North Ave. Friday or Saturday.

Burglary: Jewelry valued at more than $900 was stolen Friday from a house in the 3500 block of Clifton Ave.

Stolen car: A 1988 Dodge Colt with tags DNF 527 was stolen Friday in the 3900 block of Mulberry St.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A cellular phone valued at $200 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 3300 block of Berkshire Road. A suspect was being sought.

Vandalism: At least 16 headstones were overturned and the locks of several burial vaults were damaged overnight Friday at Oak Lawn Cemetery in the 7200 block of Eastern Blvd.

Malicious burning: Police were seeking three teen-age boys who set fire to a trash container in the rear of Denny's Restaurant in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. about noon Saturday and caused about $200 damage.

Parkville Precinct

Vandalism: Someone caused at least $500 in damage to the hood of a 1994 Eagle Talon parked in the first block of Eagles Way Court on Saturday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: More than $100 was stolen from Dave's Custom Hats, a concession stand at Towson Town Center, Friday or Saturday.
