Hopkins men advance to ECAC final, 66-50 Gorman's 22 help Jays top Penn State-Behrend

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. -- Matt Gorman scored 22 to power Johns Hopkins past Penn State-Behrend, 66-50, in the semifinals of the Eastern College Athletic Conference tournament last night.

Penn State-Behrend shot 52.3 percent in the first half, compared to the Blue Jays' 42.8, and took a 32-30 advantage at the half.

The Blue Jays went on a 36-18 scoring run in the second half, shooting 45.8 percent while Penn State-Behrend shot just 21.8.

Andy Lawrence led Penn State-Behrend with 20 points.
