FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- There were countless nuggets of wisdom that Orioles pitching coach Ray Miller bestowed upon Mike Flanagan when the left-hander was on his way to 23 victories and the Cy Young Award in 1979. But what Flanagan appreciated most that season were some of the things Miller didn't do.
