County police released yesterday the name of a woman killed last month in a hit-and-run accident as she crossed Laurel Fort Meade Road near Maryland City.

Elaine Bridgett Woodson, 37, of the 200 block of Easton St. in Laurel was pronounced dead at the scene Feb. 23 after she was run over by three vehicles.

Woodson had left a McDonald's restaurant about 8 p.m. and was crossing the road when she was struck in quick succession by a blue Chevy Astro Van, a white, four-door Honda and a Pontiac Grand Am. The driver of the Grand Am stopped to help, but police are still looking for the blue van, which has a tinted windshield, and the Honda.

The van, made between 1985 and 1988, would have a broken grill and windshield damage, police said.

They had no further information about the Honda.
