Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southeastern District

Arrests: Two men sought by Dayton, Ohio, police in kidnapping, burglary and impersonating police officers were arrested yesterday at the Baltimore Travel Plaza in the 5600 block of O'Donnell St. A plaza employee became suspicious and called police because the men were making and receiving many telephone calls. Officer David Engel questioned the pair, who gave him evasive answers, and arrested them on charges of hindering an officer. Police checked their fingerprints and learned of the Ohio warrants. Franklin Kevin Kennedy, 36, of no fixed address, and John Henry Hopkins, 44, of Jackson, Miss., were being held at the Central Booking and Intake Center, pending extradition proceedings.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Handguns and jewelry, all valued at about $6,000, were stolen Tuesday or yesterday from Anchor Loans, a pawn shop in the 3400 block of Belair Road. A cutting tool was used to remove the safe's door.

Robbery: A man was in the 6600 block of Snowberry Court at 8: 20 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a baseball bat, robbed a woman of her purse, cash and other property about 3: 30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of Towanda Ave. The victim sustained minor injuries when she was struck several times with the bat.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1987 Nissan with tags AZN 794 was stolen Tuesday in the 7000 block of Laurelton Ave.

Theft: Several exotic fish, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen Monday or Tuesday from a fish pond in the back yard of a house in the 100 block of W. 39th St.

Southwestern District

Burglary: A cassette player and a gold bracelet, all valued at nearly $500, were stolen Tuesday from two apartments in the 4500 block of Manordene Road.

Robbery: Police were seeking a woman who entered an apartment on Wheatley Drive about 3: 30 p.m. Tuesday and robbed an 89-year-old woman of $50 and stole her grandson's 9 mm Finnish-make semiautomatic handgun while threatening the victim with a knife.

Southern District

Stabbing/arrest: A 21-year-old man was stabbed by another man during an argument yesterday morning in the 600 block of Scott St. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. A 43-year-old man from Shrewsbury, Pa., was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A woman armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed the Royal Farm store in the 9600 block of Pulaski Highway about 3 a.m. Tuesday.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrests: While police investigated an overturned truck in the 4000 block of Beechwood Road on Tuesday, they learned that $10,000 worth of property in the truck bed had been stolen from George International Corp. in the 4000 block of North Point Road. Three men were being held pending charges of theft.
