Police raid of video store results in 2 drug arrests

County police arrested an Odenton man and an Owings Mills woman on drug charges Monday after officers reported finding cocaine and marijuana in their video store, police said.

William Daniel Grimes Sr. 46, of the 500 block of King Malcom Ave. was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sandra Stoner, 37, of the 100 block of S. Ritters Lane was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police raided the Odenton Video store in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road at 1: 45 p.m. in response to complaints from neighbors. Inside they found small amounts of what tested positive for cocaine and marijuana, police said.

A drug-sniffing dog indicated that he smelled drugs in Grimes' 1975 Mercedes-Benz. Police searched the car and found $517, a small amount of cocaine, and digital scale and large test tube both with cocaine residue, they said. Police seized the car.

Because the dog indicated that the $517 found in the car and the $1,020 from Grimes' pocket had traces of drugs on them, police said, they also seized the money.
