Navy's DeVoe wins Patriot League honor

Navy's Don DeVoe, whose team has improved its conference mark for four consecutive years, was named Patriot League co-Coach of the Year along with Bucknell's Pat Flannery.

Three of the Midshipmen, who finished 10-2 in conference play, gained all-Patriot League honors. Junior guard Michael Heary, who led Navy in scoring (17.8 ppg), joined junior power forward Hassan Booker (12.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg) on the first team.

Point guard Brian Walker earned a second-team berth. The 5-8 senior co-captain led the Patriot League in assists for the third straight year, averaging 5.1 per game. He also was Navy's second-best rebounder (5.1).
