March 01, 1997

Opponent: New York Saints

Site: Baltimore Arena

Time: 8

Radio: WJFK (1300 AM)

Outlook: The Thunder (2-4) is on a two-game winning streaking after shocking first-place Philadelphia last week, 11-10. New York (3-3) is coming off an 18-16 win over the Buffalo Bandits. Both teams are fighting for a playoff berth. A Thunder victory would move the team into a fourth-place tie with the Saints. Jeff Klodzen leads the Thunder offensively with 13 goals and 11 assists. Its defense is led by G Derek Collins, who was named MILL Player of the Month after stopping 83.6 percent of the shots he faced and registering 51 saves in the win over the Wings.
