Anne Arundel police are looking for two hit-and-run drivers involved in separate accidents this week in which one woman was killed and another critically injured.

Police said one driver was at the wheel of a 1993 full-sized Ford pickup truck or Ford Bronco involved in an accident at Clark Station and Burns Crossing roads about 4: 30 p.m. Monday.

The other was driving a blue van that struck and killed a woman crossing Laurel Fort Meade Road about 8 p.m. Sunday.

In the accident Monday, Mandy M. Anderson, 26, of the 1600 block of Shannon O Circle in Severn was thrown from her 1986 Ford Ranger as it spun out of control and flipped over twice.

Anderson was listed in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

Police said the other vehicle struck Anderson's truck in the rear.

Police have not released the name of the woman killed Sunday as she crossed Laurel Fort Meade Road east of Old Line Avenue.

They said the van that hit her was a Chevrolet Astro or a GMC Safari manufactured between 1985 and 1988.

The vehicle had tinted windows and probably has windshield damage and a broken front grill, police said.

Anyone with information on either accident should call county police at 222-8573 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or 222-8610 after 4 p.m.
